Rocky Mountain Outdoors Writers & Photographers member Mike Hammond wrote the following review, who bought a MINOX ZX5i 2-10x50 BDC which was donated to RMOWP by MINOX for the auction at the Bryce Canyon Conference.
Not much can be added to the description or specifications that MINOX's ZX5i 2-10x50 BDC rifle scope development team included in the user guide for this scope.
The ZX5i, fitted with the Leupold Mark 4 base and rings made attaching this rifle scope to the Heckler-Koch 308 AR-15 style platform about as easy as you can get, making your friendly gunsmith's skills unnecessary to install the ZX5i scope to the rifle. After laser bore sighting the scope to the gun, it was time to head out the door, fire up the truck, make a stop for some ammunition and get to the gun range to finish the sighting-in process.

Charlie Phillips testing the BN 7x50 DCM, MD 50 W and BL 15x56 for the Whale and Dolphin Conservation
When out at sea during the high season and using the wonderful white rubber coated 7 x 50 Marine DCM units (with their advanced active LED display for the like of compass bearing, altitude, atmospheric pressure and time) I can rest assured that if there is anything out on the wide blue yonder with a dorsal fin then these brilliant units with their very bright, clear and very sharp image, will find it. I’ve had them with me on full day research surveys and everyone (scientists, boat skippers and crew) that I have let have a shot of them have raved about them and it’s been difficult sometimes getting them back again!

Hi, I’m “PJ” Deloche. I live in the South-East of France and am a professional archer. I’ve been in the French Navy for 14 years as a lookout and with the coast guard in the maritime rescue coordination centre. In both areas of activity, optics are always around my neck or on my shoulder.
My sport is archery which I have been practicing since 2005. I was ranked no. 1 in the world for almost two years – from Oct. 2013 to June 2015. To reach this accomplishment, I won 36 international medals in 45 national team selections! Now I’m a professional archer, competing in official tournaments around the world, designing new archery products, and advising brands in communication and marketing.
French Archery team member Dominique GENET relies on his MINOX APO HG 10x43 and MINOX MD 62 during competitions.
My name is Dominique Genet. I am French and have been practicing archery since 1988. I am a member of the French National Compound Archery team since 1996 and am regulary among the top 3 worldwide for several years now.
Archery is a sport of precision. Our arrows measure 5mm in diameter and must withstand the impacts at 50m making it imperative to have the right equipment. In addition, during our outdoor competitions, my equipment is subjected to hardships like rain, wind and sun, sometimes several days in a row.
