Information on the return of batteries according to §12 of the Battery Ordinance:

With regard to the sale of batteries or accumulators, or the delivery of devices containing batteries or rechargeable batteries, MINOX GmbH is obliged to inform the user in accordance with the Battery Ordinance of the following:

Batteries may not be disposed of with household rubbish. The user, as the end user, is legally obliged to return used batteries. The user may return batteries free of charge after use at the point of sale or in the immediate vicinity thereof (e.g. at municipal collection points or in shops).

The user also has the option to return the batteries by post. The user can contact MINOX GmbH for return.

Batteries that contain harmful substances are marked with a crossed-out wheelie bin symbol.

Near the wheelie bin symbol is the chemical name of the pollutant.

Explanation: Cd stands for cadmium, Pb for lead and Hg for mercury.
