Can the brightness of the illuminated reticle in the MINOX riflescope be changed?
MINOX riflescopes (ab Generation ZE5.2)The illumination electronics can be programmed for 2 different brightness curves. To set the illumination to the darker curve, remove the batterie, turn the illumination adjustment dial to "2" and reinsert the battery. The reticle illumination is now darker throughout the entire adjustment range. To choose the brighter illumination curve, repeat the procedure but turn the dial to "8", and then reinsert the battery.For ZX5i and ZE5i riflescopes the procedure is identical. However, the adjustment dial must be turned to "3" for the darker curve, and "11" for the brighter curve.
